So shitty that a 2009 Scion’s doesn’t even slide to cover the window
Or a 2012 Mazda’s

I mean, it probably was one of the more expensive Chevy’s at the time, but a Benz it is not. *Remembers recent string of shop visits* Maybe it is.

Or 2016 Fiesta.

My 01 Passat has a tiny visor that flips down above the rear view mirror to block the 1” gap.
Total overkill, but that was Piech’s VW.

Must’ve stolen that idea from the Lexus LS.

Oh, VW, at one point in 2003 the Touareg and the original beetle shared the dealer floor here in Mexico

But, BUT early 2000's GM interior!!

I mean, it’s better than bankruptcy era GM interior, but that’s not saying a whole lot.

But did they come in black?
![]() 02/13/2018 at 19:01 |

No, but that doesn’t look like it extends, slides, or is even a double shade.

At a $22k starting price, it was definitely a nice feature.

So fancy a 1994 bravada has them. Don’t have photos but I feel GM has done it for awhile but it’s random what they put it in.

A 1996 Chevrolet S10 Blazer had them.
My question is does Chevy do this on any cars today or has this been cost cut?

I don’t have a clue.
